Cancel Culture: Why Cancel Kanye?

Fall 2022 | Assignment: Pick a topic or issue that is important to you.  It can be a political issue, or something non-political... it should be something you care about.

Here are some example Topics:

Federal legalization / non-legalization of marijuana

Should Pickleball be an Olympic sport?

Should the government forgive student loans based on income level?

Should transgendered athletes be allowed to compete in NCAA tournaments?

Is 'Deepfake' technology the future of filmmaking?  If so, how?  

Should there be a Federal mandate on firearm purchases?  If so, what should they be?

Those are just some ideas.  The most important thing is you demonstrate your argument through found footage (archival, contemporary, photos, etc...) AND provide voice-over narration to further emphasize your message.

Please edit your footage and narrative together for a completed video between 3:30  - 4:30 (no less, no more)
